Separate audit, implementation and ongoing work
An audit identifies access, content and measurement gaps; it does not automatically fix them. Implementation resolves agreed technical issues and creates or improves pages. An ongoing program updates evidence, expands useful coverage and follows changes in visibility and leads. Ask which stage the quote covers, who edits the website and how many review cycles are included. A monitoring subscription records observations; it is not a substitute for implementing improvements.
Ask for work, evidence and a boundary
Use these three questions with every finalist.
List the exact pages, technical corrections and source updates, with owners and approval steps.
Require before-and-after URLs, prompt records, cited sources and qualified-lead reporting, not only a proprietary score.
Name software, development, design, interviews, paid promotion and client time. State who owns the assets at exit.
Guaranteed AI citations are not a controllable deliverable. Agree the work and measurement instead.
Inside the work
AEO pricing: compare the purchased work, not just the fee
Provider-published examples checked October 9, 2026. This small, selected sample is not a market average, ranking or like-for-like recommendation. Packages, minimums and inclusions differ; confirm current terms with the provider. Beespoke is the publisher and has a commercial interest.
| Provider / offer | Published price (USD) | Scope and comparison limit |
|---|---|---|
| RevenueZen · Foundation | $3,000/month | Bundled SEO/content program: four articles, three page refreshes and AI brand monitoring with monthly reporting. Not a standalone AI citation package; excludes original research and link building on the checked page. |
| RevenueZen · Scale | $10,000/month | Broader program including quarterly GEO audit/citation work and original research. Paid media and link building are listed separately. Same provider as the row above: these are two packages, not two independent market observations. |
| Beespoke | $99/h · 10h/week | Publisher offer, not a fixed content quota. $3,960 over four weeks or $4,290 per average month. Scope is agreed by priority; tooling and third-party work are separate unless expressly included. No guaranteed citations or recommendations. |
Scope estimator
Calculations stay in your browser. No form submission or booking is required. USD only; taxes and financing are not modeled. Defaults are fictional, not a forecast.
Enter valid non-negative numbers. Opportunities cannot exceed inquiries; customers cannot exceed opportunities. Percentages must be between 0 and 100.
Minimum 10 hours each week; 40 hours over four weeks cannot be concentrated in one week. This is a four-week scope estimator, not a calendar-month quote. No promised citation count. Agree the exact work and extra costs before purchase.
What should increase the price?
More markets, languages, complex products and technical restrictions create real work. Original research, interviews, content review and development also require time. Ask the agency to connect each extra fee to a deliverable or dependency. Publishing many near-identical answer pages adds volume without necessarily improving usefulness. Price legitimate authority work by the activity and evidence produced, rather than by guaranteed placement in an AI answer.
Measure four outcomes separately
A brand mention is not a citation; a citation is not a website visit; a visit is not a qualified lead. Record the platform, prompt, date, answer and cited URL for visibility checks. Use comparable prompts across languages and label the sampling limitations. In analytics, separate known AI referrals from direct and search traffic. Reconcile qualified bookings with the preserved source and the visitor’s optional answer. Do not equate a monitor’s score with a universal AI ranking.
Example: plan an initial four-week allocation
Illustration only: a 40-hour allocation might reserve eight hours for diagnosis and measurement, eight for technical and entity corrections, sixteen for priority content, and eight for review and reporting. At $99 per hour this is $3,960, excluding tools and third parties. This is a planning example, not a promised package or delivery timetable. Existing technical debt, research availability and approval delays can change the allocation. Agree what is deferred if a dependency consumes more time.
Avoid paying for unsupported promises
Google states that its existing SEO practices apply to AI features and that no special structured data guarantees inclusion. Require the provider to identify the documented mechanism behind each proposed technical change. Correct inaccurate business facts and weak answers because they affect readers and retrieval, not because an agency claims a secret AI signal. A credible scope specifies controllable work, reviewable outputs and the platform-dependent limits of results.

Can an AEO agency guarantee ChatGPT recommendations?
